Holy Martyrs Catholic Church

Building & Grounds

[A Christian steward is] one who receives God’s gifts gratefully, cherishes and tends them in a responsible and accountable manner, shares them in justice and love with others, and returns them with increase to the Lord.
“Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response,â€? U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops

Everyone who finds their way to Holy Martyrs, whether they are just visiting or looking for a parish home, always seem to notice the beauty of the buildings and grounds. That we are blessed with beautiful surroundings and well-maintained facilities is no accident. Our Building & Grounds Committee works hard to keep everything in order and to make improvements from time to time. Essentially, this ministry seeks to provide the necessary physical resources so the spiritual and tangible needs of the people within the community will be met. To do this, the committee assesses future needs, reviews contracts, maintains resource lists of providers, works with groups of parishioners to accomplish tasks, and develops an annual calendar of events.
