Habitat for Humanity

“Our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love which shows itself in actions.”
1 John 3:18

Habitat for Humanity is a well-known national and international, non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to building homes for needy families. Holy Martyrs has supported the Medina County division of Habitat to build houses in the local area for several years and remains committed to providing workers and others who can assist the overall effort to make homeownership a reality for those who qualify. How can Holy Martyrs Parishioners become involved?

The parishioners at Holy Martyrs who have committed themselves to the work of Habitat see their goal in this ministry as serving the needs of the local community, providing the opportunity for families to obtain an affordable home, and helping break the cycle of poverty.

Teams are forming for Construction, Landscaping, Food Servic, HfH Restore, Office Help and Fund Raising. A Holy Martyrs Habitat for Humanity Newsletter is also in the works. Updated Team lists with Contact Information for each group are now available. Questions?
